EmpireOne in action; Not-for-Profit technologies

  • Collaborative software solution design
  • Exclusive NFP packages
  • Education initiative for the technically challenged
  • A work environment for all to learn from each other

Conscious that technologies are essential and not within reach of all organisations, EmpireOne has adopted a Not-for-Profit structure. The aim is to allow for real-world software solutions to be available to organisations who may sometimes have one or many technological disabilities. Pun intended.

More than the traditional “you get a discount (and we lock you into our solution)”, we are looking at a much more radical shift to become a solid foundation to our young organisation.

This translates into a few different initiatives which are explained here.

Non-for-Profit collaborative solutions

Twice per year, a dedicated team from EmpireOne runs a project to benefit multiple Non-for-Profits, charities and associations sharing similarities with each others. The aim is to promote a collaborative solution design to a common problem, where each contributor helps steering a given area of discussion.

True to our company values, EmpireOne endeavours to deliver without reinventing, in a transparent and lean approach, helping to constantly focus on making sure each party will benefit from the solution which they typically gain a full access to.

Community packages

EmpireOne offers exclusive (as opposed to “discounted”) packages tailored specifically to Non-for-Profits. Each is delivered with our “Business Ready” guarantee. This means that not only a software is delivered, but the solution will have been discussed and the needs of each user taken into consideration just as much as the business needs.

In other words, we will not “build on demand”, but instead “build after having validated the demand”.

Education of our community

We are setting up a number of education initiatives to allow for everyone in the NFP community to benefit from a more solid technical foundation. Topics range from online marketing, web programming, social engineering, social networking and more, and each course runs regularly to allow previous attendees to further their skills.

Schedule will be published in July.

Special employment opportunities

Because not everyone has had the same opportunities in life, we like to help those who, within our community, need a little more guidance and patience. This translates into employing local and international students and also individuals with physical and psycho-social disabilities, or otherwise socially disadvantaged.

Once again raising the bar

EmpireOne is raising the bar to become a pioneer in social technologies. Our team is dedicated to making the communities around us more prosper through an educated use of technologies.
